    Also located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Snowbird is one mile down canyon from Snowpine Lodge and Alta Ski Area. While it may be best known for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, Snowbird offers a full roster of activities in the summer, including the U.S.’s first open-air Tram ride to Hidden Peak for breathtaking 360° views.

    Ski out of Snowpine Lodge and straight onto the Wasatch Mountains of Alta Ski Area. The mountain is known for its steep and deep powder skiing with an average of 547” of snow each winter. This 5km run is designed specifically for nordic skiing, located between the Albion and Wildcat Base Areas of Alta Ski Area. Cross-country skis can be rented from the Alta Ski Shop.
