Alta Tree Planting Day

Join us for Alta’s busiest event of the season as we spend a busy day on the mountain planting up to 1,000 tree seedlings. These seedlings are native to Alta and grown from handpicked seeds AEC employees harvested from the mountainside. We will hike to different locations throughout Alta and decide where to plant seedlings based on characteristics including aspect, elevation, and vegetation type to increase the likelihood of survival. Lunch will be provided! Registration information will be posted about a month before the event.
