Come and get Lucky: Celebrating Green Food (ACE)
Thursday, March 14, 2024
Thursday, March 14th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Sign-Up
In this class, we’ll learn about Rosemount, Minnesota: the home of the Irish and where Chef Katie was born. Next up, we’ll taste everything from corned beef to sweet and sour cabbage, pistachio “salad” and a special Irish lucky charm. You’ll also go home with something to decorate your own St. Patrick’s Day menu.
Katie thrives on working with exotic ingredients and spinning classic ingredients into something amazing. Her cooking style is like her life, out-of-the-ordinary and full of surprises. When she’s not in a kitchen as a private chef or working in Montana during fly fishing season, you can find her on the river fishing or “shredding pow” up at Snowbird. Before becoming a chef she was born and raised in Rosemount, Minnesota, the Home of the Irish. She learned all about the traditions of St. Patrick’s Day from her Irish family. Rosemount even has a week-long celebration called Leprechaun Days to celebrate their Irish Heritage.
ACE aims to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all of our attendees; please contact our Executive Director, Sara Gibbs, with any questions regarding accessibility.
