In this class, students will learn how to sketch/paint on their shoes. Ginny will provide templates if you’d like to use them for inspiration. During this class you will first sketch, then paint onto your shoes, up-cycling that old pair that sits in your closet collecting dust. Ginny specializes in color, color mixing, and specifically acrylic painting. You will need to bring your own pair of shoes. Try to thrift it first, and make sure the material is canvas such as cotton (ex. Converse style.).

Ginny is originally from Texas but found a home at Alta, her moms worked around the mountain for 15 years now, and she’s worked and lived up at Alf’s on and off for the last 5 years. Ginny is currently in the Graphic Design program at the University of Utah, graduating in May! As long as she can remember she’s spent her free time doodling, painting, taking photographs and just making the images in her head come to life. Once Ginny moved near LCC the inspiration never stopped and she stays inspired no matter the season. Ginny has also been selling stickers and prints as a side hustle since 2018.
